Pussy 100% natural energy gears up for global launch with Branson investment
Pussy, the only 100% natural energy drink made from milk thistle and schizandra is gearing up for a global launch over the next six months with new investors Holly and Sam Branson joining the brand.
Created by British entrepreneur Jonnie Shearer in 2004, Pussy has been a well kept secret in celebrity circles until London fashion store Selfridges ordered thousands of cans this summer. Tesco has followed suit recently launching Pussy in selected stores. Now firmly in the retail spotlight, Pussy is finalising global distribution deals – and with Branson investment, has its sights set on knocking taurine based energy drinks off the number one spot.
Holly Branson said: “When I see and experience a brand I love, I want to get involved. Pussy is fun, irreverent and exciting. The energy drinks market is growing, but it’s crowded with unhealthy options. Investing in Pussy is my commitment to a product that I believe in.”
Sam Branson commented: “Pussy initially turned my head for all the obvious reasons, but then I was impressed by the taste and how naturally stimulating it is.”
With Holly and Sam Branson’s support, Pussy is seeking partners to expand into further international territories including the USA and will launch in Russia this month. Currently, it is stocked in 3,500 retail outlets and is available to order by the case online.

3,000 cans of Pussy were transformed in to a 8m wide and 1.5m high 3D sculpture by installation artist Emma Winter to announce Sam and Holly Branson’s investment in Pussy, the 100% natural energy drink.
